The Artist: Kristy Chettle is an abstract artist whose tactile approach to painting sets her apart. Born in Los Angeles, California in 1968, Chettle forgoes traditional brushes and palette knives, favoring the intimate connection of painting with her hands. Her works are characterized by deep textures, vibrant complimentary colors, and layers that carry a visceral sense of motion and raw emotion.
